  • Land/Shallow Water Search

Cost For My Service

There is NO CHARGE to come search for a lost item. Rewards (based on what you can afford and what it’s worth to you) are always appreciated, but not obligatory.

Search Types

Land and beach - sand and shallow water. For beach hunts the quicker you call us after losing an item, the more likely we are to find it.

It is unwise to post on public Facebook pages the location in which you think something was lost ! Please contact a professional, as there are unscrupulous persons who may find your item and not return it !!

Searches are not limited to rings- we have also found and returned keys, earrings, watches, and cellphones. If it’s metal, we can find it!

Search Locations

ALABAMA - Mobile and Baldwin Counties: Mobile, Dauphin Island, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Ono Island, Daphne, Foley, Fairhope, Elberta, Spanish Fort

FLORIDA- Escambia County: Perdido Key area, Flora-Bama.

Barbara Burgess's Bio

I have been metal detecting off and on for 40 years and more seriously for the last 10 since I retired from my career as a nurse.

My husband and my best friend are also both avid and experienced detectorists and they both often accompany me on lost item searches.

My friend Cheryl Clark is starting to establish a well known reputation for finding jewelry lost in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area and I am often on Dauphin Island. Between the three of us we have an array of several high end metal detectors using some of the most advanced detecting technology including multi frequency search modes. (Minelab Equinox 800, 900, Excalibur, and Manticore, Deus 1 and 2, and Nokta Legend).

While we specialize in beach recoveries, we can also search other areas such as yards, parks, school grounds etc.

We have done multiple searches and returns in the past, including a 1970 University of Tennessee class ring returned to the owner almost 50 years after he lost it - you may have seen me in the news.

We look forward to reuniting you with your cherished lost items.
