Cost For My Service

For most searches, my call out fee will be a very reasonable $50 whether your item is located or not. This fee helps cover my out of pocket expenses, for example - fuel, maintenance, tire wear etc. It may be more or less, dependent on the location. We can always discuss that when you call. Otherwise, like many other Ring Finders, I work on a "Rewards" basis. That is to say, you can reward me with whatever amount you feel is appropriate and within your means. Many items are irreplaceable as they have a high sentimental value in addition to any monetary value. Just consider, and think to yourself, how much would you pay or reward someone if they returned your lost item? That's of course the best starting point. Your contribution rewards me for my time and experience as well as helping me maintain and replace the tools I need to be successful in recovering lost items.

Search Types

I personally own many detectors, each having their own specialized purpose. Several of my machines are waterproof and at least one is able to take to depths up to 250 feet. However, I do not dive and my water searches are restricted up to approximately 5 feet of depth. I can detect parks, beaches, lakes and of course yards, just about anywhere that your special item may be hiding. Yes, metal detectors do work in the winter and can find your lost items deep into snowbanks - phones and keys being to most frequent items lost in the snow.

Search Locations

The entire Okanagan, have detectors - will travel!! I can travel anywhere I am needed

Brett Johnson's Bio

I am a retired Chartered Accountant and have been an avid detectorist for approximately 10 years and during that time I have returned quite a few items including rings, cell phones, necklaces and keys. Perhaps soon I will have the opportunity to return your lost item. All you have to do is call me as soon as you can; as speed of response is extremely vital to any successful recovery and critically important in public areas. For me personally, it is very satisfying providing this very important service to our communities, as there is just nothing that can replace the tears, smiles and joy we experience when an item is ultimately returned. Please feel free to give me a call at any time and I will be happy to discuss my services with you and answer any questions you may have. If I am unable to take your call, please leave a message as I will return your call with utmost urgency.
