There is no "fee" for my assistance. I work on a reward basis, I accept tips based upon what you feel my recovery efforts are worth to you.
Search Types
I am equipped to search fresh and saltwater beaches, dry sand, wet sand, shallow water, wading surf, lakes, parks, playgrounds, yards, fields. when you have time, please.
Search Locations
I primarily search all areas of the Southern New Jersey Shoreline, including: Cape May, Wilwood Crest, Wildwood, North Wildwoood, Stone Harbor, Avalon, Sea Isle City, Strathmere, and Ocean City beaches. This also includes inland areas of South Jersey / Cape May County. Arrangements for locations North of Ocean City may be possible as well.
Jeffrey Laag's Bio
I got into metal detecting, as a hobby, over 10 years ago. I really enjoy the hobby, and began expanding and upgrading my detectors and equipment to allow me to search different types of terrain & area. While out hunting, I occasionally would be approached by people and asked if I would help them with finding lost items, especially on the beach. All too often, I would hear "It's probably gone forever". Seeing an opportunity to make my hobby into a way of helping people, I began assisting people on a regular basis with recovering their lost precious items. I created "Lost Ring and Jewelry Recovery Service" page on Facebook (see link above) as a way to promote the service as most people had no idea of who or where to turn to after loosing an item. As a life long resident of Southern New Jersey I am very familiar with our shoreline and the behavior of our beahes both "on" and "off" season. I have been a firefighter for over 20 years and have always enjoyed helping people. Seeing the reaction on someones face after being reunited with something that they believed was "lost forever" is what has become, hands down, my favorite part of this hobby. After loosing an item on a beach or in the water, time is of the essence, the sooner that you get a ring finder searching the better the odds are of recovering the lost valuable. So if your looking for the best chance of being reunited with your lost item, call today! Be sure to check out my blog posts below.
