On Sunday, March 9th, at Sunset Beach, my wife took off her ring to apply sunscreen and accidentally forgot to put it back on. It wasn’t until we were leaving that we realized her ring was buried somewhere in the sand. Thinking quickly, we asked some nearby residents if they had a metal detector—and luckily, they did!
For a few hours, I scoured the beach with the metal detector, convinced we could find it. We had already shaken our towels and blanket, so we thought it might be lost for good. I managed to pinpoint what I believed was the ring’s general location, but despite my efforts, I couldn’t dig it out of the sand.
Just when I was about to lose hope, I decided to call Mike. By the grace of God, he was in the area and was incredibly friendly. He arrived just as the sun was setting. I showed him where I thought the ring might be, and within seconds, using his tools, he unearthed it from the sand!

Thank you soooo much for finding my husband bracelet !! You saved our beach trip. It’s our 5 month daughter first beach trip and losing that killed the start of what’s supposed to be one for the books. Extremely thankful for you and your daughter generosity and helping hand! Have a blessed day
