Cost For My Service

I work on a ''Reward Basis'' that means you pay what it's worth to you and what you can afford for me to come out and find your lost item. I have a call-out fee to cover my fuel expense of $40 maybe more or less depending on where you are located. (Call to discuss.) If searching for buried gold or silver on your property -- we can negotiate a flat fee or percentage.

Search Types

Beaches, Yards, Water up to 10 feet deep, Mountain Lakes and Trails, Remote Desert locations. I have the equipment to access difficult locations.

Search Locations

Time lost is the most critical factor – text or call ASAP 24/7 .“A meetup at the lost item location with the person who lost the item is ideal.”Location identification is also very critical – take a photo with background landmarks of last known or suspected drop area (especially for beach or water locations).

Trevor Oxborrow's Bio

I was born in Truckee, CA and raised in Micronesia. I have 26 years of mountain bike guide experience, 23 of those spent in Nevada and the Eastern Sierra. I have been metal detecting since 2020.

I had only been detecting for three months when a relative asked me to search for her husband’s lost wedding ring. After searching a one acre back yard for 2 hours, I found the ring and I was hooked. Nothing is quite a rewarding as searching for a wedding ring you know is lost, perhaps forever, and through perseverance you are able to reunite owner and ring.

  • Thanks to his dedication and perseverance, this priceless piece of our story is back where it belongs (2025)

In September 2023, my wedding ring sank to the bottom of the lake. We thought it was lost forever. Being from Europe, we were nowhere near to look for it ourselves — but Trevor never gave up. He dived several times for us and found it in the summer of 2025. Thanks to his dedication and perseverance, this priceless piece of our story is back where it belongs! Thank you Trevor!

I hope you have a wonderful week.

    Kind regards,

    Jeremay and Wendy
