A Different Search in Kelowna BC.
A lady called me that her husband had lost 2 gold rings, one of them large wedding ring. Asking questions on their loss, she explained that the loss is in his business office. I advised her that a metal detector has issues indoors due to all the electrical units around, but that I would respond and do a complete search. At the office I asked him what he did to lose the rings, he explained that working on his keyboard the wedding ring was so large it interfered with his typing, so he always takes them off and puts them on the desk. I spent one hour searching every part of the room, his files, cupboards, chairs, visually, and with a pinpointer with no success. In the end I advised them that to lose two rings was unlikely and I suspected that someone entered his office and stole them. I told them to search their clothing and vehicle, I also recommended that they submit a police report in case they show up at a pawn shop. At least they have the satisfaction of knowing that the rings are not in the office.

Tacia called me on The Ringfinders web site in distress that she had lost her Grandmothers Wedding ring and Engagement ring, after telling me the story about how she lost them in her back yard I assured her that I would find them. The wedding ring and engagement ring were worn by her Grandmother all her life until she passed away at 98 years old. They both were given to Tacia as a heirloom so she was stressed out that she could not find them in the grass, but my assurance made made her feel better. Once at her home, it took me less than five minutes to find them both, it made her Mothers Day.
