Cost For My Service

I work on a Reward Basis...That means you pay me what my service is worth to you and what you can afford for me to find your lost item. It's not based on how long the search takes it's based on whether or not I find it.

A travel expense of $35 will apply for travel outside of Bristol, Monkton, Lincoln, Starksboro, and New Haven. Extended travel distance fees will be determined and mutually agreed upon prior to the search.

I will do my absolute best to reunite you with your lost item.

The one thing I ask is that you start with a text message and that you are mindful of the time of evening(no services provided between 7:00pm-7: 00am M-F)

Search Types

Beaches, Fields, Woods, Yards, Gardens, Yards, parks, shallow water, and snow or any other property with the owners permission.

If lost in a public area, call ASAP! I can also search for long-lost

jewelry if approximate location is known. I require proper permission is obtained by you from the property owner prior to conducting the search. I will not detect where permission is not granted or detecting is not permitted, such as National Parks, Cemeteries, Historical Sites, etc..

Search Locations

Counties I cover are Addison, Grand Isle, Chittenden, and Rutland. I prefer to stay within a 75 mile radius of Bristol, Vermont, but certainly willing to discuss locations further away.

Amos Martin's Bio

I am a full time truck driver and an Officer with my towns Fire Department. I've been in this hobby on and off over 20 years but within the last 3 it has become my passion.

I've saved a lot of history from being taken by the Earth permanently with top finds of a 1789 George Washington Inaugural Button and a Royal Newfoundland Regiment Cross Plate from the War of 1812 which is now on display in their museum in Saint Johns, Newfoundland.
