Lost Diamond Wedding Ring Olathe

  • from Kansas City (Missouri, United States)

On Friday, Alissa took off her 4 carat, white gold wedding band to do work in her backyard patio area.  She laid it on the outdoor table for safekeeping.  Later, her husband joined the effort and “moved” the table to clean around it.

When they wrapped things up she realized her ring was no longer on the table and nowhere to be found.  They searched diligently but had no luck and the next day bought a metal detector.  Two days of searching and frustration led her to the RingFinders and I arrived Tuesday evening to help.

My first 30 minutes of searching did not produce the ring but the area had lots of “trash” targets.  These spurious signals were primarily metal items left just under the surface from the home construction and 30 years of back porch use.  So we started the painstaking process of removing every single piece of metal from the area most likely to hold the ring.

Finally, after another 30 minutes of unearthing foil and screws and coins and pulltabs from the ground, we got the solid tone we were looking for.  Bam!

I’ve never tried to make a grown man cry, but it happened right before my eyes.  Another ecstatic and relieved customer!

Subsequent to recent weight loss, Ruth lost her platinum and diamond wedding set.  She contacted me and upon arrival she recounted all her activities leading up to her realizing the rings were not on her finger.  We methodically retraced all her steps and about 10 minutes into the search, her husband was actually able to eyeball find the larger ring.  Amazing!  From there is was a simple process to retrieve the smaller band and she was reunited with her precious keepsakes.  Another happy customer!

Lost Wedding Ring in Neosho

Rhonda lost her wedding band putting out hay for her horses.  Once the initial panic subsided she called friends with a metal detector but they had no luck.  She contacted me and the next morning I was on the scene.  I demonstrated how the machine worked to her satisfaction.  She patiently recreated the scene and retraced all her steps.  With both she and her husband in close proximity, we started a circular shaped search pattern.  Within minutes, we heard that awesome report of a coil swinging over a solid target!  Voila, another happy ending.  She and Kenny are thrilled that they contacted a professional to return their precious keepsake.

Lost Keys in Leawood KS

  • from Kansas City (Missouri, United States)

Mike suspected he lost his key fob while shoveling snow.  He turned the house upside down but couldn’t find them (or his spares)!  A scheduled flight that afternoon intensified the need to respond and recover these keys.  He contacted me and I began to search the snow on the sides of the driveway with no luck.  The entire drive hadn’t yet been shoveled, but the rebar in the concrete was giving my detector fits.  So I had Mike completely clear the driveway and voila!  The key fob was still in the snow, but once it got over the grass instead of the drive, the Legend sniffed it straight out.  Another happy customer and another on-time departure.

Lost ring in Overland Park during Turkey Day Football game.

  • from Kansas City (Missouri, United States)

Nick lost his wedding ring at his family’s annual Turkey Day football game.  Hours of determined searching and borrowing a metal detector did not do the trick.  His mother in law contact me through Ringfinders and within 45 minutes we had his ring successfully recovered.  So often, it just pays to bring in a pro.  Another ring back to its rightful owner, another happy customer!

Lost Wedding Ring in Lee’s Summit

  • from Kansas City (Missouri, United States)

Kayle realized she lost her ring on Sunday.  Trying to recreate all her actions since the last time she knew she had it on, she felt the most likely culprit was the backyard football game.  She enlisted friends and family to help look through the leaves and grass.  She even rented\purchased metal detectors to no avail.  On Friday she contacted me and within a couple of hours we were in the “football field” in question.  We did our best to re-enact the events, figured out most likely areas and then grid the boundaries of the search area.  10 minutes of swinging and we hit that unmistakable staccato tone of a surface target!  Another very happy customer!

Lost Ring Recovered in Louisburg KS

  • from Kansas City (Missouri, United States)

Kara attended an outdoor wedding and after the ceremony realized her unique silver ring was missing.  Lots of folks looked for it under a massive party tent but came up with nothing.  They searched again to no avail as the tent and setup were dismantled the next day.

Wisely, she got on the internet, found TheRingFinders and subsequently contacted me.  We carefully set boundaries for a grid search and voila!  15 minutes and we swung right over the ring, very near where she was sitting.  This is one she couldn’t replace so it had a huge sentimental value for her.

It is so satisfying to be a part of the story.

Platinum Diamond Wedding Ring Found on Florida Beach, Returned to the Owner!

  • from Kansas City (Missouri, United States)

This is so crazy and so unlikely but ever detail is true. Recently, I was hunting a Florida beach and found a gorgeous Tacori Platinum wedding band with multiple diamonds in the band.

As I was filming my good fortune I was approached by a young woman who said their had been people looking for a lost ring the day prior.  We searched for them on the beach but could not find them.  Grasping for straws, I thought to ask the attendant at the stand where they rent umbrellas and beach chairs.  Sure enough, the folks looking for that ring left their contact information with him.

He took my business card, contacted the woman who lost the ring, and within just a few minutes I got a call from Jennifer.  She described the ring perfectly and was  overwhelmed with joy at the prospect of getting her family heirloom back.  What a stroke of good fortune!!  30 minutes later she was reunited with her lost keepsake and we had a touching moment together with her daughter.

What an awesome hobby that let’s me be involved in this sort of joy.  I never tire of it 😊

Lost Cartier Ring Returned in Olathe, KS

  • from Kansas City (Missouri, United States)

In a fit of pique, Jesse launched Sam’s matching Cartier love band across the drive, across the street and onto a neighbor’s property.  After cooler heads prevailed, she set upon a search for the ring  that included enlisting the neighbors, ushing flashlights at night, and even buying her own detector.  When none of these resulted in the return of her ring, she contacted TheRingFinders and that lead her to me.  We carefully reconstructed the events and within 15 minutes, the gold Cartier was back with it’s rightful owner!  Another happy ending and a very satisfied customer!
