Joe had gone to the waters edge & felt his ring slip from his finger into the shallow waters. The Stoney base swallowed the ring within seconds & it was gone! Sue, his mother was very keen to see the ring back so called me. I took the day off from work & met them at the most picturesque location I had seen f or a while! The tide was low so I begun a wide area search working outwards. After 15 mins , close to the sea up came the ring. It was clear by the smiles how pleased they were to see it back on his finger. They made a kind donation to the Margaret Green Animal Charity.

Sophie & recent husband were most upset to find Chloe had lost her wedding band given to her by her Grandmother. Chloe keeps chickens and lost it one day when feeding them. They had been married only a month so only added to their sense of loss. I tried fruitlessly in one area they were sure it was lost until I thought I’d try the Chicken coop itself. Detecting a pile of grain the sound was given by the detector and after a short rummage up came the ring. They made a kind donation to the Margaret Green Animal Charity.

Chloe & fiancé had been paddle boarding in the knee deep waters of Sandbanks in Poole, Dorset. Fortunately for them they had been using a tracker to monitor where they had been boarding. When they realised they had lost the ring they hoped the tracker would help locate the ring but alas it didn’t . When I arrived we searched loosely along their route & just before I was about to give up the detector gave the reassuring noise of gold. They were very pleased to get it back & made a kind donation to the Margaret Green Animal Charity.

Jon & family from Middlesborough enjoyed a splendid day on Studland Beach. He’d had the hindsight to securely tie his wedding ring to his shorts as he was in & out of the sea and sand and probably knew the risks of it slipping off.

Getting dressed by his van preparing for the long drive home, he forget where it was tied and it was soon trodden down into the mud by his van. It was until later he relised what may have happened so called me.

Returning to the spot a few days after I didnt even have time to get my machine out! Pressed into the mud lay a perfect circle of gold. He received the ring in the post & very pleased to put the ring back on his finger. Jon made a kind donation to the Margaret Green Animal Charity.

Jon from Hampshire was playing in the waves in Swanage sea when he felt his ring slip from his finger. He tried desparately to find it but by then the sand had covered it over.

We had a rough idea of its location so three days later, in about three feet of water I begun my search.

As fortune has it I soon found it and it was sent by post the next day. Jon was exremely happy to have it back and made a kind donation to the Magaret Green Animal Charity.

Demi from Essex was devasteated to have lost her Grandmas wedding band in the sea in Swanage during a weekend trip. She had felt it slip and knew of the approx area which for ring finders like me really helps.

I visited several times during low and high tide and on my forth visit up came the ring. Demi was very appreciative to have the ring back on her finger and made a kind donation to the Margaret Green Animal Charity.

Tony from Winchester lost his ring in the soft plentiful sandy beach of Studland. Married for decades he was very happy to have it returned by me after a 30 second search!

Alex from Poole was playing in the shallow waters of Poole harbour with his children on a SUP when he felt his wedding band slip from his finger. Although the water was shallow they searched madly but they deemed it ‘lost’.

He had to wait a tense number of days for my arrival but when I did we sat and enjoyed a coffee in his camper van awaiting the tides retreat.

We found the spot, walked ten yards and up it came! Alex was very releived to have it back and offered to make a kind donation to the Margaret Green Animal Charity at Church Knowle.

Hayley & her family from Wiltshire were enjoying a break in Swanage. With the rings placed securely through the necklace she was wearing, nothing could go wrong?! Whilst in the water the chain got yanked and broke – she managed to save the chain but the rings disappeared into a few feet of water.

I searched up and down for a good hour until the unmistakable sound of gold sang through my headphones. Just a yard away, another!

She was overjoyed to have them both back & made the long drive down to Swanage the very next day to collect the rings. Hayley made a kind donation to the Margaret Green Animal Rescue Charity.

 

Jonathon & family from Portsmouth were spending a few days in Swanage on a mini break until disaster struck. Whilst playing in about 3 feet of water he felt his wedding band slip from his finger. He tried desparately to catch it but it was too late.

When he called the Ringfinders.com I was away on business & he had to wait a grueling three days before I could search. Rather than risk time drifting away awaiting a low tide I took my chances and searched as soon as I  returned from being away. After only 15 minutes the detector gave an almighty scream as I struck gold. This was aided by the fact that his friends who with him the day he lost it happened to be on the beach that day & narrowed the search area.

I returned the ring to him by post & he commented he was “VERY happy to have it back”. Jonathon made a kind donation to the Margaret Green Animal Rescue at Church Knowle, Dorset.
